Holiday Neckties Made Into Patchwork Vests

Project description – The client (JH) approached me with a unique idea He wanted me to create these patchwork vests using his father in law’s Christmas ties (which he collected for years). The vests were custom fit to the client and the ties were cut and hand sewn together to make the fronts of the vests. Then the lining and backs were made with red, gold, and green satin. The finishing touch was to sew the tie labels into the backs of the vests.
